The Power of Visualization can be used for anything that you want to attain in life. I’m grateful that at a young age, I have realized this great tool and understand how powerful it can be. You close your eyes and imagine what you want to be, accomplish, attain or attract to yourself. When you close your eyes and think about it, what comes to mind?
When I was a boy, I was using this tool before I even knew what it was. I would lay down for bed and think about the girl I liked and envision myself with her. Now in real life, I was too scared to approach the girls that I had crushes on, so nothing ever materialized from those visions. But as I’ve gained experience in life, I see now that this can and does work! You have to combine your thoughts and visualizations with the ACTION of doing it, not just the dream of doing it. If it’s a dream in your mind and it seems far off, then that’s exactly what it will be. But if it’s a REALITY in your mind and it seems like it’s here or that you’ve already accomplished it, then it will surely materialize.
As I’ve mentioned in previous posts, a vision board is an easy way to help you visualize what you want. Go to billaid and cop a cheap cork board for $5 buck (not bucks, buck). Place pictures of what you want on the board. Place it in a highly visible area so that you’re forced to see it everyday. Pound in your little mind EXACTLY what you want. Not what would be nice, or similar to what you want, EXACTLY what you want! This will bring it. But remember, you can’t just lay back and wait for it to come to you. You have to go get it.
My vision board is under construction right now. But it is on my mind and I’m working to complete it asap. Mooch even helped me create a page with all my future career accomplishments clearly labeled. That’s right, accomplishments, not aspirations. I am visualizing myself and my career over the next 10 years. In my case, my career is my life. So everything on my board pertains to my career. Your board could be very different and this is more than OK.
The Power of Visualization is just the first step, but it is the most important step. Your mind is so powerful. Arnold Schwarzenegger covered his walls with pictures of body builders when he was a child. Positive words, material, posters, pictures and quotes adorn my room and walls. Surround yourself with such. Surround yourself with what you want. This is the first step. Just like Kanye West said, “Before I had it, I closed my eyes and imagined”. Look at Kanye now. Look at Arnold now. Success is what comes to mind when I think of either of them.
I can’t be beaten. Keep it clean.

I’ve not been on your site in a while and I apologize. You’re an incredibly kind young man with a good heart and I applaud everything you are doing.
Visualization. Manifestation. Ideas that took me a LONG time to get and now I get it, big time. Now if I want something or need something and I can usually manifest it pretty quickly. I’m not joking. Sometimes it’s scary but in a good way.
Synchronicity. Another concept on the manifestation cog. I’ve read many a good book on the concept, Florence Shinn (The Game of Life), Shakti Gawain (Creative Visualization) are 2 good resources that I know of.
I was fortunate in the 90′s to have some great teachers (gurus) from my church, the Self Realization Fellowship and the New Thought Church. These are not mainstream churches but they do preach positive thinking and manifesting your desires.
I had dreamt and visualized my current spouse years before I met him, down to the state he lived in! I had a longing to move to FL for years and guess where my spouse lived? Uh Florida! That was my soul self telling me I needed to be there, because HE was there waiting for me.
I’ve found that most things in life that are good for me happen very effortlessly. I literally have to stay out of my own way. I discovered that in the 12 step program. Once I let God steer the steering wheel of my life, things just flowed.
So, Mooch, good article and good vibes coming to me from to you.
Sending you much love, light, happiness and financial abundance your way.
Hey!
thanks, I appreciate you coming back. Now you’ve reminded me to check out your blog again. But I shouldn’t take credit for this article for my friend Kendoll wrote it. Luckily we think on the same wave length.
