The best tool I have currently is word of mouth, and the best way to get people talking about something is through this blog and my social media channels. So like before with the other homeless friends and families I’ve brought to your attention on doingithomeless.com, I am coming to you today with another risky situation for a newly homeless family.
A couple weeks ago another Facebook friend from Gaston, South Carolina came to me in private asking for help with the below message:
“Well the unthinkable is happening..my 5 kids my husband and myself become homeless again at 3 pm eastern time tomorrow. I am scared. Not to mention tired and have no clue where to go or what to do.”
The Good News
The Husband is employed, thankfully, and will receive his next paycheck on Wednesday of this week. Once received, they can get back into a hotel room and continue looking for a place to stay with their 5 children.
The Bad News
Tomorrow morning, Tuesday, my friend and her husband and 5 kids must leave the hotel room they’ve been living in for a week. Their family knows of their situation and still will not help for whatever reason.
But I promised to help them and this is one form of that. Bringing awareness to you. And whatever it takes, they will get help to get a hotel room for 2 more nights while they wait for the next paycheck to come through.
Help me get these 5 kids a decent place to sleep for 2 nights and consider clicking the donate button at the bottom left of this page. All we need to collect is $100 which is enough for 2 rooms and gas money to take the kids to school. FYI the PayPal donate button at the bottom left of this page goes directly to me. This will enable me to deliver the money straight to the family. If you prefer to send a donation directly to the family instead, please email me here and I will get you the appropriate information.
I will be donating to their cause, I sincerely hope you will too. Any questions or concerns please feel free to comment below.
Share this post so we can help this family as quickly as possible. I need your help. They deserve your help.
Thank you.
