I know it’s been awhile since my last post. Aside from being extremely busy, I honestly lost track of this wonderful outlet that Mooch has allowed me. Getting caught up with all the most recent posts that Mooch has done, I realized that there was an important subject that I needed to talk about. Friends. Family. And how significant these people can be in our lives.
As time goes on, we realize just how important our family members are to us. Not until recent years did I realize how important my family is to me. And it brought me to see how important my friends are to me and how fortunate I am to have some great friends that I now consider family. Many people have lots of acquaintances that they call friends. Many people are surprised at how many years I have maintained friendships and how close I am with my inner circle of friends.
Being grateful for even the small things we have right now can only bring more things to be grateful for in the future. I feel rich; not in the monetary form (YET!), but in the form of love and life. I feel privileged to have my friends and family, and that I continue to meet new and wonderful people on a daily basis. I hope to meet and make new friends for the rest of my life. Positive human interaction soothes the soul and brings you to another level in life and love.
This realization came upon me today. I had to write it out. This is definitely therapeutic for me. You can do the same. Write out what you’re grateful for. Even if it’s the pencil and paper to write it out that you’re thankful for, write it down and read it to yourself aloud. You will inevitably attract MORE things to be grateful for.
I’m rich in life and that makes me rich in love because of my love for life.
