Everyone can relate to this post. We are all consumers or clients to another person or company. We buy our groceries from stores, we get our vehicles fixed by mechanics and we rely on these services and many more to progress our own lives both personal and in business. So what’s the most important aspect of a service to you? I’ll bet I know the answer…
Communication.
Here’s an example I want to share with you regarding one of my newest clients for my website and branding company.
I was referred to a local french soap company who hired a web developer to create their business website. After months of waiting, their website was only half done and didn’t look or function anything like they wanted. They had already paid the developer a deposit, but no progress was being made and their brand and current marketing campaigns were being affected. They couldn’t get straight answers from their developer or a timeframe as to when the website was to be completed. They were very concerned.
This is when I came into the picture. I informed them right away that if they were to hire me, I would not only be local but also available 24/7. I would consult with them to learn their needs and deliver. Simple as that.
Long story short, I was hired and my team had their fully custom website up in less than a week.
“We were extremely fortunate to be referred to IDD at a critical time in our business development where our previous web designer had failed us repeatedly and missed several important deadlines. IDD was briefed on our concept and just got it, something that our current company could not manage to accomplish after almost two months. Our entire site was designed and up and running within four days, an effort that gave credibility and a face to our company during the national summer trade shows. Anything short of not using IDD as your source for website development is just plain irresponsible and not fulfilling the obligations that we have to our small businesses”. - Jacklyn & Philip
